We have been cooperating for the past four years, so why does it seem like whenever we tell the governor \u201cno,\u201d the request changes into something else?<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/a7b7bdaae86c43af9f0e2bc414451b6f\"\/><\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt that point, the \u2018elite\u2019 decide that we are up against the governor. The House proposed numerous resolutions, but the executive branch ignored them. Nobody has taken notice of it or mentioned it in any way.<\/p>\n<p>So, I\u2019m not sure what led to the false assumption that the House is at odds with the governor.<\/p>\n<p>Obasa claimed that by confirming and rejecting some of the governor\u2019s commissioner nominees, the Assembly carried out its constitutional duty.<\/p>\n<p>The Speaker claimed that he is attempting to defend the All Progressives Congress (APC).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo, I\u2019m attempting to defend my party, and I\u2019ll keep doing that, but we won\u2019t forgo serving our people in the name of technocrats, no.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnyone who is curious as to why we made such a choice should approach the House.
