Boitumelo Radiopane, who is on loan from the Orlando Pirates, has received an update from Cape Town Spurs coach Shaun Bartlett.

During the PSL Promotion/Relegation playoffs, which CT Spurs won last season, Radiopane fractured a bone.

The Buccaneers have loaned the 21-year-old to the recently promoted team for the entire season. It was anticipated that he would be able to heal in time for the upcoming season.

However, Bartlett has since disclosed that the SA Junior International won’t resume competition until January of the following year.

UPDATE FROM SHAUN BARTLETT ON ORLANDO PIRATES LOANEE

He won’t be around until January, Bartlett said.

Due to the severity of the damage and the need for surgery, the doctor naturally estimated a recovery time of four to five months. He only underwent the procedure in July, which prevented him from playing in the season’s first round.

AS BOITUMELO RADIOPANE REVEALS, SPURS ARE SEARCHING FOR A STRIKER.

Bartlett has also stated that the team must now look outside of the country for a striker. In three games, the Urban Warriors have scored just one goal.

We are definitely searching for a proven goal scorer at this time. which every team or coach in the nation is searching for.

There is no one available right now in the nation, so we must try to look outside.

Nicholus Lukhubeni was acquired by Spurs on loan from Mamelodi Sundowns earlier in the week. The 27-year-old worked with Moroka Swallows throughout the previous season.

On the right side, Nicholus is a fantastic option for us, but the major problem for us is that he is plainly not match fit. Therefore, we must focus on that.

We won’t be able to use his services until he is prepared, which could take another three to four weeks. But for the time being, he must focus on his own plan in order to help the squad, Bartlett continued.
