Importantly, they have told media reporters that they only want the truth to come out because they have suffered enough.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe want to come out and tell the truth,\u201d they were quoted as having said. Knowing that their case is still in court and that they are consequently limited in what they may say in the media, Fortunate Bhembe and Sincedile Dlamini-Magwaza boldly conveyed their feelings about the impact the situation has had on them, their families, and their coworkers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are suffering a lot. In fact, we have suffered quite a lot already. Since the beginning of this thing, we have endured a lot of abuse, insults and accusations from the public, mainly in the online forums where we have been called all sorts of names,\u201d they told reporters. The two officers, who have brought the whole forensic investigation process to court following charges of extortion, bribery, and irregularities in the inquiry, have revealed shocking information about how the investigation has been corrupted.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/za\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/6d651c3d5db043c284071fb53c92bd5f\"\/><\/p>\n<p>They have revealed in their court papers how they were concerned about the way the inquiry was set up,  blowing the whistle on one of the investigators who reportedly promised to exonerate them provided they gave him money. He also provided them with details on how the inquiry would be concluded and recommendations, prompting the cops to seek judicial intervention.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are tired of the accusations,\u201d\u00a0said Bhembe, going further to say their intention was not to hide their side of the story. \u201cThe whole thing has been made to look as though we have something to hide, just because we went to court,\u201d she went on to say.
