I do not have to worry any more that I am too heavy to do something. I still intend going for surf lessons. It\u2019s on my new bucket list.\u201d<\/p>\n<p> Stoltz, a mother of two daughters, said her new look had boosted her selfconfidence.<\/p>\n<p> \u201cMy self-confidence is sky high and I am in love with myself for how I look. Fighting for your own body is really worth it. I now weigh 61kg. My husband is my biggest supporter.\u201d<\/p>\n<p> Stoltz said her weight-loss journey had been difficult.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/za\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/b9557346b2cd4ae5b32b19fbcaf07506\"\/><\/p>\n<p> She said It was not easy as she didn\u2019t always want to work out or eat healthy.<\/p>\n<p> Her lifestyle changed in March 2022. With no shortcuts like surgery or pills, she managed to lose 86kg and gain a stronger mind and body.<\/p>\n<p> She said she used to wear 4XL clothing but was now a small size. Stoltz said she used to frequent Panarottis to feast on their eat-as-much-as-you-can deals.<\/p>\n<p> Nelson Mandela Bay dietitian Amber Kelly said the basis of all weight loss was being in a calorie deficit.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/za\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/58f19b357b4e449bb54b65ed5e399284\"\/><\/p>\n<p> \u201cWith exercise, we expend more calories than someone who doesn\u2019t exercise, and therefore it\u2019s likely to place us in a calorie deficit, which results in weight loss,\u201d Kelly said.<\/p>\n<p> Kelly said those who wanted to lose weight should start by eating nutrient-dense foods containing fibre, protein and healthy fats as they helped keep them fuller for longer.<\/p>\n<p> \u201cEat small frequent meals \u2014 three main meals and two to three snacks \u2014 to help with portion control and keeping you full throughout the day,\u201d Kelly said.<\/p>\n<p> \u201cIf you\u2019re craving something, have a small portion of it and be guilt-free.<\/p>\n<p> \u201cSet yourself small goals, not only weight focused, but also other areas of your life where nutrition can improve such as sleep, mood and normal blood values if they\u2019re out of range.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This is a story of hope. <\/p>\n<p>Source: https:\/\/www.heraldlive.co.za\/news\/2023-08-14-halving-her-weight-transformed-george-mothers-life\/<\/p>\n<p>Content created and supplied by: SheSays (via  Opera<br \/>News )<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>\n<span class=\"content\">    ,  .   ,     .
