Her funeral details revealed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div id=\"\">\n<p>Limpopo-Dr. Gaynelle Makhubele of Two Summers Health Centre\u2019s funeral and memorial ceremony plans have been revealed.<\/p>\n<p>The Makhubele family has confirmed that a public memorial service will be held at Impala Park Hall in Phalaborwa on Thursday, August 10, at 11 a.m.<\/p>\n<p>Following the revelation of Makhubele\u2019s death on Sunday, hundreds of messages came in for her family.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Makhubele died on Sunday, August 6, after collapsing at her practice, according to her relatives.<\/p>\n<p>Her birthplace is Acornhoek, although she grew up in Phalaborwa, where she attended Frans Du Toit High School.<\/p>\n<p>The 32-year-old doctor has a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery degree from the University of Cape Town.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/za\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/41d21564290b4c2c8189eabfaa7ef230\"\/>She worked at Letaba Hospital and Maphutha Malatji Hospital before opening Two Summers Health Centre 24-Hour Clinic in Phalaborwa.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is shocking and disheartening to lose such a bright and intelligent young doctor in our community,\u201d said Ba-Phalaborwa Mayor Merriam Malatji. The fact that she was able to open a 24-hour clinic for the benefit of the community speaks volumes. It is a tragic loss.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDuring this difficult time, I wish the family peace, comfort, courage, and a lot of love.\u201d \u201cMay God bless you,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Gaynelle Makhubele will be laid to rest on Saturday, August 12.<\/p>\n<p>Her death is a great loss for all of us, not just her family. Although no words can truly relieve the collective pain and loss, her family must know that they are in our thoughts and prayers.
