Even though newer phone models claim to have features to prevent overcharging, it is still recommended to disconnect your phone once it\u2019s fully charged.<\/p>\n<p>2. Using the wrong charger or cable<\/p>\n<p>Using a cheap or counterfeit charger or cable may damage your phone or battery. Always use the charger or cable provided in the box or by the manufacturer. If you need to replace it, make sure to buy the right one that matches your phone\u2019s specifications.<\/p>\n<p>3. Charging your phone with a case on<\/p>\n<p>If you charge your phone while it is in the case, it can significantly increase the temperature of your phone, which can damage the battery. It is advisable to remove the case while charging your phone.<\/p>\n<p>4. Letting your phone battery drain completely<\/p>\n<p>Allowing your phone\u2019s battery to drain completely will harm the battery life. Keeping your phone charged also ensures that it is always ready for use when you need it.<\/p>\n<p>5. Not keeping your phone at a moderate temperature<\/p>\n<p>Charging your phone at very high temperatures can damage your phone\u2019s battery and decrease its lifespan.
