The Ba-Phalaborwa Municipality is in a state of mourning following the untimely passing of Dr. Gaynelle Makhubele, a dedicated medical professional renowned for her contributions to the community. Dr. Makhubele, who ran the Two Summers 24 Hour Clinic in Phalaborwa town, tragically passed away after collapsing at her practice on Sunday, August 06.<\/p>\n
Mayor of Ba-Phalaborwa Municipality, Cllr Merriam Malatji, expressed profound sadness at the loss of a remarkable and intelligent young doctor. Dr. Makhubele\u2019s commitment to the well-being of the community was evident through her establishment of the 24-hour clinic, which provided essential healthcare services around the clock.<\/p>\n
Dr. Gaynelle Makhubele, aged 32, was born in Acornhoek but spent her formative years in Phalaborwa, where she attended Frans Du Toit High School. She later pursued her studies at the University of Cape Town, earning a Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Medicine and Surgery. Her passion for medicine and dedication to her patients earned her widespread respect.<\/p>\n
During this difficult time, Mayor Cllr Merriam Malatji conveyed her heartfelt condolences to the grieving family. She offered words of comfort and support, extending her wishes for peace and strength during their time of sorrow.<\/p>\n
To honor the memory of Dr. Makhubele, a memorial service will be held at Impala Park Hall on Thursday, August 10. The community will gather to remember her contributions and celebrate her life\u2019s work. The final farewell will take place on Saturday, August 12, as Dr. Makhubele is laid to rest.<\/p>\n
