The shortage of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), often known as gasoline, has continued to bite harder on motorists, drivers, and commercial cab drivers in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.<\/p>\n
According to reports, there has been a shortage of the good for the past few weeks in Ibadan and other towns and cities across the nation.<\/p>\n
According to information obtained by our correspondent, the situation grew worse over the weekend as some gas stations that sold the product closed their doors to potential customers and independent merchants raised their pricing to N300.<\/p>\n
In contrast, the prior pump price ranged from N195 to N270.<\/p>\n
It was noted that a small number of stations affiliated with significant marketers had likewise raised their pump prices from N180 to N190.<\/p>\n
Numerous commuters travelling on main routes in Ibadan were reported to be stranded in the early hours of Monday due to the continued fuel shortage.<\/p>\n
Bodija, Sango, Sango-Eleyele Road, and Secretariat Road were a few of the places that were visited.<\/p>\n
Additionally, it was noted that most gas stations selling at N190 currently have large lines.<\/p>\n
A citizen who went by the name of Mr. Ayanda claimed to have spent a good deal of time on Sunday shopping for the item, which he eventually purchased for N190 at one of the major marketers\u2019 petrol stations.<\/p>\n
