Arsenal have withdrawn their new \u00a3110 home shirt from sale while a \u201cdesign error\u201d is corrected.<\/p>\n
The shirt honours the \u2018Invincibles\u2019 season, 20 years on from when Arsene Wenger\u2019s side went unbeaten throughout an entire Premier League campaign.<\/p>\n
However, it incorrectly recorded the results achieved by Arsenal in the 2003-04 campaign.<\/p>\n

Kit manufacturer Adidas said fans who have already bought the shirt would be refunded.<\/p>\n
Within the design of the 2023-24 \u201cauthentic\u201d home shirt \u2013 which has a retail price of \u00a3110 \u2013 the outcome of the 38 results from the 2003-04 Premier League is detailed with a row of W\u2019s and D\u2019s to highlight the wins and draws from across the season.<\/p>\n
But the shirt \u2013 worn by the players on a matchday \u2013 mistakenly only carried 32 of those results.<\/p>\n
The \u201cfan\u201d shirt, which has the same design but is a cheaper option for supporters, is unaffected by the mistake. It retails at \u00a380 and is still available in the Arsenal club shop.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe 2023-24 Arsenal home authentic jerseys are temporarily unavailable while a design error is being corrected,\u201d Adidas said.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are working closely with the club and our partners to ensure restocked jerseys are available as soon as possible, and are offering full refunds to fans who have already bought one.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis design error falls short of the standards we set ourselves as a brand, and we apologise to the club and its fans.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe replica \u2018fan\u2019 version of the home jersey is unaffected and widely available now.\u201d<\/p>\n
