The Arewa Youth Consultative Forum (AYCF) claimed that Vice President Yemi Osinbajo was unhappy with All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate Bola Ahmed Tinubu. In an interview with the Daily Post, Alhaj Yelima Shettima, the group’s national representative, argued that Tinubu did not deserve the treatment he was receiving from Osinbajo. He argued that if Oshinbajo really supported Tinubu, he should show his support openly. Shettima said that Tinubu paid his dues to President Muhammadu Buhari and Osinbajo, so he deserved better support from them. The group also claimed there was a crack within the APC.

“It is very disappointing that things have not gone well lately, but Tinubu does not deserve what he got from Osimbajo and Bukhari. He deserves more than the support they give him. “If they really are with him, they should show it, and if they aren’t, they should speak up.” We knew Obasanjo was yaruadua all the time when he was in power in 2006.His body language and body language were both supportive. “He made every effort to promote a presidential candidate.” Even in the absence of a presidential candidate, Obasanjo campaigned because he wanted to ensure that his successor was in power. “It’s about the president and vice president sitting on the fence, and even the governor isn’t being honest.” Shettima further said that the APC governors were not honest and urged Tinubu not to rely on them as they might disappoint him. He asked Tinubu to reach out and talk to Nigerians, CSOs, and organizations and not rely on the governor. “There are fewer than five governors with Tinub, and the other governors only support him, and it will be better for his APC.”
