City beat Inter Milan\u00a01-0 in the Champions League final.<\/p>\n<p>Guardiola said: \u201cWe had to have rain as this is Manchester. The fans are used to the rain.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It comes after the club clinched the Premier League and FA Cup this season.<\/p>\n<p>Guardiola said his side\u2019s Champions League success following Rodri\u2019s 68-minute goal was \u201cwritten in the stars\u201d.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/_130071046_city.png\" alt=\"Phil Foden shows off the Champions League trophy\"\/><\/figure>\n<p><em>IMAGE SOURCE: PA MEDIA<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Image caption: Phil Foden shows off the Champions League trophy<\/em><\/p>\n<p>A drenched Guardiola was later seen pumping his fists to the crowd as the players showed off all three trophies.<\/p>\n<p>Defender Ruben Dias and striker Erling Haaland were among several players who went shirtless after they were drenched in the rain.<\/p>\n<p>Haaland, 22, led the dancing players onto a stage just after 20:00 BST as midfielder Kalvin Phillips serenaded England defender John Stones.<\/p>\n<p>Guardiola hailed the fans for coming out in the storms.<\/p>\n<p>He said: \u201cWe had to be the best parade with this rain, otherwise it is not Manchester.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe don\u2019t want sunshine, we want rain, so it was perfect.
