Majority of them are in the petrochemical industry.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo far, we have accounted for all the Ghanaian students, 73, nobody has been harmed, we have all of them safe in a place, then the next batch of Ghanaians are three Ghanaian footballers in Sudan, we have also accounted for them\u2026so put all of them together the plan is to evacuate them.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>An earlier statement that the Government of Ghana was working to evacuate Ghanaians from Sudan following the conflict.<\/p>\n<div>\n<div class=\"postImageUrl\">\n<p>The Ministry said that the past one week in the Republic of Sudan had been gripped by a deadly conflict between the Sudanese Armed Forces the Paramilitary Rapid Support Forces, resulting in avoidable casualties.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Khartoum had been the epic center of the clashes with civilians being most affected.<\/p>\n<div>\n<div class=\"postImageUrl\">\n<div class=\"imgUrl\">\u201cThe Ghana Embassy in Cairo Egypt which has concurrent accreditation to the Sudan, working closely with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs\u00a0and Regional Integration and the Honorary Consulate are coordinating the evacuation of our nationals,\u201d the statement said.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>It added that \u201cplans are currently underway to secure their safe passage to Ethiopia.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<footer>\n<div class=\"td-block-row td-post-next-prev\">\n<div class=\"td-block-span6 td-post-prev-post\">\n<div class=\"td-post-next-prev-content\"><span>Previous article<\/span>Frimpong-Boateng \u2018advises\u2019 KON as a son, revealing more galamsey in Ofoase-Ayirebi<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/footer>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>File photo of Petrochemicals Most of the Ghanaian students who are studying in Sudan are in the petrochemical industry, Deputy Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration Minister, Dr Kwaku Ampratwum-Sarpong has said.
