So it is something on the table worth considering,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>But Research and Policy Analyst at IES Adam Yakubu has predicted that the company may go back to sleep when the exercise ends.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMarK it after Friday when the deadline is closed, you won\u2019t hear this thing until next year when the Managing Director will announce that they are doing revenue mobilization,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>He wants the exercise to be a regular move so that Ghanaians will know how serious ECG is about the issue.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think it should be something that should be done monthly so that they go round every month to mobilize revenue.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He also charged the company to sensitize Ghanaians on paying their debts to help ease the pressure when it comes to collecting their debts.<\/p>\n<p><strong>By Gifty Amankwaah|Onua FM|3news.com|Ghana<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Institute for Energy (IES) has charged the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) not to go back to sleep in collecting debts as the company\u2019s revenue exercise ends on Friday, April 21.
