{"id":58914,"date":"2023-04-18T11:54:16","date_gmt":"2023-04-18T11:54:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2023\/04\/18\/mamo-drc-understudies-npas-fuel-marking-programme\/"},"modified":"2023-04-18T11:54:16","modified_gmt":"2023-04-18T11:54:16","slug":"mamo-drc-understudies-npas-fuel-marking-programme","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2023\/04\/18\/mamo-drc-understudies-npas-fuel-marking-programme\/","title":{"rendered":"MAMO DRC Understudies NPA\u2019s Fuel Marking Programme"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<p><strong>The team from MAMO DRC with Dr. Abdul-Hamid<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>A delegation from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) has paid a visit to the National Petroleum Authority (NPA) to understudy the design and operational framework of fuel marking.<\/p>\n<p>Chief Executive Officer of MAMO DRC, a firm subcontracted by Authentix to deploy the fuel marking programme in the South and East of the DRC, Paul Kasseyet, lead the team together with the MD of MAMO, Gerard Mulimbi.<\/p>\n<p>They were purposed to gain a better insight into the Petroleum Product Marking Scheme (PPMS), which the Authority has implemented to effectively monitor the quality of petroleum products along the supply and distribution chain.<\/p>\n<p>NPA Chief Executive, Dr. Mustapha Abdul-Hamid, expressed excitement about\u00a0 the visit to learn stressing that \u201cno one will help us if we do not help ourselves\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Mustapha Abdul-Hamid said the NPA was ready to share its experiences with DRC in the regulation of the petroleum downstream industry.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe fuel marking programme has multiple advantages. If you come on board, it is worth it\u201d, he said.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Kasseyet, in his remarks lauded Ghana for its steady development over the years, describing the country as one of the few success stories on the continent.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI always mention Ghana as an example of development on the continent.
