Black Sherif recently posted something on Snapchat that surprised his fans and kept them in suspense. The multifaceted artist and Sad Boys President showed a picture of his leg, which had a reasonably deep cut and was oozing blood. <\/p>\n

He did not add a caption to the image, which eventually increased anxiety among his fanbase. We are confident that he will provide a sufficient account of how he hurt himself in the coming days.<\/p>\n

Back in December 2022, Black Sherif intimated that he wouldn\u2019t his head get swollen-headed as accolades from all over the world pour into his box since his emergence into the mainstream.<\/p>\n

Despite being a relative newcomer to the scene, the Ghanaian rapper and songwriter has made a mark for himself as he is now one of the most sought-after in Africa.<\/p>\n

Having been praised by a lot of people since his emergence, American superstars Snoop Dogg and Akon recently added their input to the waves of appellations he has received so far.<\/p>\n

In a recent interview on BBC Radio 1 Xtra, Akon in particular gushed about the Kwaku the Traveller hitmaker. The famed artist of Senegalese heritage declared that Black Sherif is one of his favourites and that, in the absence of a large label, he would sign him.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m a huge fan of Black Sherif right now. I think it may be because he just reminded me of my energy of myself when I came out. I remember the first record, bro.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was in New York City when a friend of mine called Baako from Mali played me the song and I said yo who the F is that? You can hear in his voice, you can feel the pain, the struggle, you hear the challenges and you can just hear a ghetto kid wanting to get out.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s the way he says it, you know is real, it\u2019s nothing that\u2019s fabricated and if no major label picks him up, they need to get to him before I do,\u201d Akon is quoted to have said on\u00a0BBC Radio<\/em>\u00a01Xtra.<\/p>\n

In response, Blacko who recently spoke to Graphic said he is humbled by the kind words from the two American greats.<\/p>\n

\u201cSuch comments will urge me to do more. I have received such comments from superstars like Snoop Dogg but I am not allowing all that to get to my head.<\/p>\n

\u201cI see them as compliments and a challenge for me to do more. Black Sherif is just starting and Ghanaians and the world are about to experience something spectacular from me,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
