Presently monopolising social media discourse and the grapevine is the viral photo of Irene Owusu, the newly married wife of former YOLO actor Harold Amenya that was taken at his traditional wedding.

Recall that over the last couple of hours, social media has been inundated with varied views about Irene’s looks. This online portal previously revealed that the inadvertent viral photo provoked mean comments from trolls, some of whom questioned why a handsome man like Harold chose an unsuitable woman like Irene.

The image was first shared by media personality Caroline Sampson on her social media platform alongside a caption which reads; “Guy no got married.”

– –

Trolls grasped the opportunity right away, and as insults flew in all directions directed at the woman, others jumped to her defence and insisted that she is a stunning woman.

They claim the camera angle and lighting are to blame for her not-pleasant looks as portrayed in the photo.

Abby Awuni wrote: “99% of the stuuup!d comments are coming from women who are no better than her. The 1% is from the Ghc50 beggar”.

Adwoa Animah had this to say, “So according to some of you, per your beauty standards, this lady isn’t beautiful and beneath the guy? Nah some of you calling you sick will be insulting to real sick people”.

“The most disparaging comments are coming from women. They’ll come after me but I don’t mind. Women are their own enemies. Men never do these things. Almost everything, it’s women doing these things to fellow women,” Eugene Osei Tutu posted.

In this new update, fans who have been defending Irene have shared her stunning photos to prove their point. See below;
