Hajia4Real has suggested that any young man who has the intention of settling down with a lady from Tamale, the capital city of the Northern Region, should make sure he has what it takes to buy twenty cows.

According to the singer and model, ladies from Tamale are not cheap, hence, the reason why you must buy 20 cows as the bride price before the lady’s parents will give their consent or give their daughter’s hand in marriage.

This she claims in a recent interview with Doreen Avio on Joy Prime.

Mona Faiz Montrage as she is known in real life has received multiple backlashes from netizens, especially the indigenes of Tamale, where she also hails from.

The majority of them have discredited the claim, adding that she should have just been honest enough to tell the host that she didn’t know instead of feeding her and the general public with distorted information.
