The Goaso Business Centre of Asa Savings and Loans has held a health screening exercise for clients in the Goaso operational area.<\/p>\n

In all, over 200 clients were screened of various ailments including malaria, hepatitis, blood glucose, eye care and typhoid fever.<\/p>\n

Area Manager in Charge of Goaso Business Centre, Emmanuel Opare Yeboah, said the gesture was part of an annual exercise and a nationwide corporate social responsibility by the company to ensure that clients of the company remain in good health.<\/p>\n

\u201cApart from doing business, we also deem it fit to make the health status of our clients a priority. Through this, we encourage them to take time off their busy schedule and check their health regularly\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is to show how we care and how we want our clients to be fit and healthy through this annual exercise\u201d he noted.<\/p>\n

The beneficiaries were given various support including medication and medical assistance.<\/p>\n

Many of the participants screened were suffering from ulcers and other ailments which have been aggravated with the type of painkillers they usually took.<\/p>\n

They were advised not to eat particular foods and manage their diets as well.<\/p>\n
