Generally, there are not enough procurement companies locally whose professionalism can match that of the western countries and whose products are of top-notch quality, but the local brand changing the narrative is Excelsior Global Limited.

Excelsior Global Limited is one of the few procurement companies in Ghana that meets the international bench mark of professionalism when it comes to the procurement industry.

Excelsior is a total procurement solutions provider ensuring that clients outsource their procuring needs to focus on core businesses.

Even though it is a young company, they are a specialised procurement and supply Chain Company that does not only deliver a complete procurement and supply demand but also provides solutions for their clients.

From medicals to energy, production, manufacturing and industrials, Excelsior Global supply all types of equipment, machinery and consumables.

It has a team of experienced professionals who tailor solutions to assist clients with their specific requirements to ensure that products and goods can be procured on the credit terms that best match their business cycles.

Excelsior has a clientele base across different sectors and approach each of them with a view of creating a long-term and sustainable partnership.

Dr. Peter Quashie, a senior research fellow ,West African Centre for Cell Biology of Infectious Pathogens (WACCBIP) at the University of Ghana affirms that Excelsior Global has an impeccable delivery rate.

“Excelsior Global was one of the procurement companies that contacted us, West African Centre for Cell Biology of Infectious Pathogens (WACCBIP research centre) at the University of Ghana when we were looking for kits to buy during the heights of the COVID-19 pandemic, to help us in our work. At that time the prices that were quoted were a bit excessive, there were some companies we reached out to directly and there were some who heard of our needs and reached out to us, but Excelsior was one of the latter ones and their price was the best of all the companies. Working with Excelsior has been very good, the only time there has been an issue was when there was global shortage for the COVID 19 kits and that was no fault of theirs and even with that they gave us options to choose from when the particular kits we were looking for were not readily available,” he said.

He also lauded the fact that it is a local company that is exceling in the procurement space.

“You will always need more players in the market and in our field, but there are only a few of them. If you are looking at buying certain things for research, most of the companies we deal with are not locally based. Excelsior is one of the very few locally based companies we buy significant number of consumables from, the major company we deal with is based in the UK and there is another one in South Africa. Dealing with Excelsior Global, they have delivered mostly on time or sometimes ahead of the time they give us. You know dealing with public universities are not easy because of the procurement process but they have had the patience to go through the whole system,” he said.

If there is a need for a procurement and supply chain company with world class services, Excelsior Global Limited is your go to.

It has built a strong relationship with their global suppliers that enables them to source and supply an extensive range of high-quality products, material and equipment.

It has also succeeded in attracting businesses from both public and private institutions because of its vast knowledge and experience in various fields and most importantly, offers the best of prices.

Excelsior Global Limited supplies Medical/Laboratory equipment and consumables such as Reagents, Diagnostic machines, Analyzers various kinds of test kits and Non-Medicine consumables.

Also, Excelsior Global supplies Medium and Low Voltage Cables, Printing Materials, Stationary and Safety Equipment ( PPE ).

Some institutions and firms Excelsior Global Limited has worked with included the West African Center for Cell Biology of Infectious Pathogens, University of Ghana, Electricity Company of Ghana, University of Ghana Printing Press, University of Cape Coast, Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, Saltpond Municipal Hospital, Friburge Oil & Gas, Angola.

If there is a need for a procurement and supply chain company with world class services, Excelsior Global Limited is your go to.
