Kenya Kwanza administration have been found in difficult situations on matters with education sectors.<\/p>\n
There first one is about the transfer of teachers to their various counties, the second is the payment of examiners, the third is about the Junior Secondary under the CBC.<\/p>\n
It has now emerged that KSCE examiners for the 2022 candidates were paid Ksh 150 daily, this is according to KUPPET SG Akello Misori.<\/p>\n
He said that the pay was to too small for examiners to even a buy a bottle of a soda. He described the poor working condition to those in prison.<\/p>\n
\u201d They are still being paid Ksh150 per day. That money cannot even buy you a soda when you get out of the centres\u2026\u201d Misori said.<\/p>\n
He wondered why the government was exploiting teachers informing that they are the ones determining the future of students.<\/p>\n
This comes after examiners refused to mark candidates papers and began protesting over poor terms of work.<\/p>\n
