The National Petroleum Authority (NPA) has taken a commendable stance in responding promptly to famed singer Fameye\u2019s recent ordeal regarding adulterated fuel.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The singer of \u201cNothing I Get\u201d claims he received adulterated GHS 700 fuel, which has since ruined the engine in his vehicle.<\/p>\n

The 2019 Honda Pilot touring model was damaged, and the award-winning singer revealed in a tweet on Thursday, March 16, that he has since spent more than GHS7,000 repairing it.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s unsure of what to do at this point in his life because, in his opinion, it seems as though the car can never be brought back to life again.<\/p>\n

He has been urged to disclose information about the aforementioned fuel station by the petroleum industry\u2019s watchdog, NPA.<\/p>\n

The NPA has asserted that if the singer is unwilling to cooperate with them, there is no way they can assist in resolving the issue.<\/p>\n

The NPA revealed in a six-point post on Twitter that it had already contacted the singer, but that his camp was not ready to get involved and had instead decided to handle the situation on their own by using social media.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe unwillingness of Fameye\u2019s management to cooperate with the NPA\u2019s Consumer Services Department by providing key information, such as the name and location of the retail outlet in question makes it impossible for the Authority to proceed with investigation into the case.<\/p>\n

  1. @NPAGhana has sighted the tweet of music artist Peter Bozah alias Fameye, alleging that he had bought fuel laced with water resulting in a damage to his Honda Pilot Touring car.<\/li>\n
  2. Upon reading the tweet, the Consumer Services Department of NPA on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at 04:39 pm and Thursday, March 16, 2023 at 12:31 pm reached out to Fameye\u2019s management to assist with investigations.<\/li>\n
  3. The unwillingness of Fameye\u2019s management to cooperate with the NPA\u2019s Consumer Services Department by providing key information, such as the name and location of the retail outlet in question makes it impossible for the Authority to proceed with investigation into the case.<\/li>\n
  4. Fameye\u2019s management team further stated that it would handle the case by itself.<\/li>\n
  5. It is worth emphasizing that without the name and location of the alleged retail outlet, the NPA is unable to assist Fameye in this instance<\/li>\n
