Photo\/Courtes.<\/p>\n<p>President William Ruto on Thursday 16th, March, 2023, unveiled the list of individuals nominated for the position of the Chief Administrative Secretaries. The head of state through the Chief of staffs nominated 50 individuals for the positions.<\/p>\n<p>The head of state majorly rewarded allies who lost seats in the 2022 August general elections. Some who shelved their ambitions for others were also rewarded.<\/p>\n<p>One of the big names who made it to the list is former Nairobi county Governor Dr Evans Kidero who unsuccessfully ran for the Homabay county gubernatorial seat which he lost to Orange Democratic Movement Party candidate Gladys Wanga.<\/p>\n<p>The former governor has been appointed as the Chief Administrative Secretary in the Ministry Of Investment Trade, and industry.<\/p>\n<p>Reacting to his nomination, the former governor thanked the head of state for the move noting that the appointment is a great honour to Nyanza region.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s my pleasure to extend my gratitude to His Excellency the President Hon. Dr. William Samoei Ruto, CGH and His Exellency the Deputy President Hon. Rigathi Gachagua for appointing me Chief Administrative Secretary, Ministry of Investments, Trade and Industry\u201d The former governor stated<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe appointment is a great honour and privilege to the great people of Homa Bay, Nyanza and Kenya in general.\u201d Kidero added<\/p>\n<p>Kidero expressed confidence that he will bring changes in the Ministry considering his experience and expertise.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.87);\">\u201cI am particularly pleased to bring my experience and expertise and<\/span> join His Excellency the President and the Deputy President to drive the Kenya Kwanza development agenda that hopes to unite Kenyans for the sake of peace and development.
