Former President of Kenya, Uhuru Kenyatta had a few individuals who were very close to him during his reign as the Head of State of the country as per the reports that we have with us.<\/p>\n

Most of the Permanent Secretaries as well as the Cabinet Secretaries in the Former President\u2019s administration were let go by President William Ruto when he took over office.<\/p>\n

Very few of the Permanent Secretaries and Cabinet Secretaries were retained by the new administration and hence most are in retirement.<\/p>\n

This evening, according to the available reliable reports that we have with us from Ambassador Macharia Kamau<\/a>, he has shared a message from his retirement.<\/p>\n

Ambassador Macharia Kamau was the Permanent Secretary of Foreign Affairs during Former President Uhuru Kenyatta\u2019s government as per the reports that we have with us.<\/p>\n

The Ambassador was enjoying a warm glass of beer at a Nairobi bar where he appeared to be alone and enjoying his time after what he described as a productive day.<\/p>\n

\u201cRetirement is very sweet as honey. There is nothing that beats a guiltless beer at sunset in The Great Nairobi after an easy but productive day! Raha Tupate na Ustawi! Na Kenya yetu Istahili heshima, milele and milele.\u201d Ambassador Macharia Kamau said in the social media post he made this evening while sharing a photo of the glass of beer.<\/p>\n

Ambassador Macharia Kamau handed over his office a few months ago and has been off the limelight for the period that he has retired.<\/p>\n
