People who routinely have blood pressure readings that are higher than usual are at an elevated risk of developing chronic renal illnesses and conditions  kidney cancer and many others. For the same reason, those with hypertension are at increased risk for cardiovascular complications. The heart is the primary organ affected by hypertension because it receives direct damage at the onset of the condition. Painful sensation will occur in the chest region as a result of high blood pressure affecting the heart and it\u2019s blood vessels.<\/p>\n<p>Thirdly, the brain is negatively influenced when a person\u2019s blood pressure increases to unhealthy levels. This is because a range of brain-related issues, some of which may be fatal, are more likely to occur if blood flow to the brain is disturbed owing to arterial injury.
