Some video footage was seen online where the soldiers were brutalizing some residents of Ashaiman. <\/p>\n<p><strong>READ ALSO: This can\u2019t happen in East Legon \u2013 Bridget Otoo condemns Ashaiman\u2019s brutality by soldiers<\/strong><\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" data-perfmatters-preload=\"5\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-323384\" width=\"683\" height=\"785\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/a01a5363-7295-43c1-976d-904203d45afd.jpg\"\/><noscript><img loading=\"lazy\" data-perfmatters-preload=\"5\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/a01a5363-7295-43c1-976d-904203d45afd.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-323384\" width=\"683\" height=\"785\"\/><\/noscript><\/figure>\n<p>In a press statement released by the Ghana Armed Forces,  signed by the Director General, Brigadier General E Aggrey-Quarshie, he stated that the scope in the town was not to avenge the death o their colleague but to fish out perpetrators of the heinous crime. <\/p>\n<p><span class=\"td-adspot-title\">&#8211;  &#8211;<\/span><br \/>\n<!-- ResponsiveAll --><\/p>\n<p>According to the statement, the military operation was sanctioned by the Military High Command.
