1Wanyonyi from western Kenya has revealed that he is a professional night runner in his village. He inherited the gift from his father and his grandfather. His joy is when he scares people at night.<\/p>\n
According to him, night runners are not witches. It is a culture from his tribe that is inherited from their forefathers. Their main aim is to scare people at night from 10 pm to 3 am.<\/p>\n
According to him, he is a farmer during the night and a night runner during the night. He goes to a home in the neighborhood at night carrying ash, sand, and a stick. He first observes whether there is someone outside and whether everyone in that homestead is asleep.<\/p>\n
He then takes ash and throws it on the roof. If they don\u2019t respond, he mixes ash and sand and throws it on the roof if no one talks he hits the roof with the stick. When someone talks and opens the door, he gets happy and runs away.<\/p>\n
