Credit: @flynimaboy \u2014 Twitter<\/p>\n<div id=\"article-text\">\n<p>Singer <em>Sista Afia<\/em> says marriage does not define who she is as a person.<\/p>\n<p>According to the singer, life doesn\u2019t necessarily revolve around marriage.<\/p>\n<p>The <em>Jeje<\/em> hitmaker said in an interview with Doreen Avio on Daybreak Hitz, \u201cI don\u2019t see life to be all about marriage and having kids. Marriage doesn\u2019t define me,\u201d she said on Hitz FM.<\/p>\n<p>The singer also disclosed that when she was young, she had the dream of getting married and having children at an early age.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was a young girl and I remember telling myself that I would get married at the age of 21; I\u2019d have twins at the age of 24, and another set of twins later.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It appears the <em>Weather<\/em> singer has given up on that dream. She said the dream was borne out of naivety.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was very young and I was very na\u00efve and I didn\u2019t know much about marriage and life, but now I do I\u2019m not in a rush.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s my dream to have a kid, but if I don\u2019t even get married, it\u2019s fine but for a kid it\u2019s something I would want to have.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She concluded, \u201cMarried people these days\u2026 it is crazy.
