Every single one of them on my skin has a special meaning, so it\u2019s not something I\u2019ll regret in 50 years. I love them. I might think of getting more. The only reason I\u2019m not getting more is because my mother said enough is enough,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>KiDi\u2019s tattoos are mostly found on his arms and chest.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\n<p><div class=\"youtube-embed\" data-video_id=\"CjwujiMu3Oo\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"KiDi&#039;s tattoos and what they mean to him\" width=\"696\" height=\"392\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/CjwujiMu3Oo?feature=oembed&#038;enablejsapi=1\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<p><strong>Jesus cross<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The cross represents his Christian faith. According to KiDi, the tattoo is a message of the cross, but it is depicted with three nails \u2013 the left, right, and then the feet.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Son\u2019s birthday<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Zane Dwamena, KiDi\u2019s son, also has his birthday tattooed on his father\u2019s body to show how special he is to the musician.<\/p>\n<p>The \u2018Champagne\u2019 hitmaker said that, \u201cAt a point, I just wanted to get numbers on my skin, but I was like, what numbers do I get that actually have meaning; that I\u2019m going to wake up every day and still be proud of? As a result, I decided to tattoo his birthday on my skin.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Mother\u2019s name<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Although KiDi\u2019s mom, Beatrice Thompson, is not so enthused about the many tattoos on his body, she has one dedicated to her. Her name has been written on the boy\u2019s right arm. The musician said his mother is the reason he has not gotten more tattoos. According to him, the mother told him, \u201cEnough is enough.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Breathe, it is well<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI deal with anxiety a lot,\u201d the Afrobeat and hip-life songwriter-singer explained, \u201cso I constantly have to remind myself to breathe because it is well.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>5 emojis<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese emojis are not just WhatsApp emojis like people say. I met someone, and he was like, why have you gone to draw WhatsApp on your skin. These emojis depict my 5 concert moods. I just didn\u2019t want to write them, happy, sad\u2026I wanted to depict them with emojis because the world speaks in emojis,\u201d he said about the tattoos on his chest.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the artiste said he had a troubled childhood.<\/p>\n<p>His defiant behaviour led him into many troubles at school and at home.<\/p>\n<p>According to KiDi, he was once reported to his father for eating his teacher\u2019s food without permission.<\/p>\n<p>The Lynx Entertainment musician said his father, who had had enough of his troubles, ordered for him to be stripped and sent out of the house.<\/p>\n<p>KiDi was forced to change his ways in order to avoid his father\u2019s wrath.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy dad called my big sister. He was like, \u2018strip him naked; everything. No supporter, nothing, and then, when you\u2019re done, put on his church shoes. So picture this: a young kid, naked, wearing only church shoes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy dad said, \u2018since you want to act all grown up, leave my house and go and live in your own house.\u2019 I\u2019m still naked and wearing my church shoes.
