APC presidential candidate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the former governor of Lagos State, is purportedly supported by Channels TV journalist and TV anchor Seun Okinbaloye, according to a claim that has been circulating on social media.<\/p>\n
Seun Okinbaloye, in response, issued a statement on Monday via his Twitter account claiming that the rumors that he had endorsed the APC presidential candidate were untrue. Seun Okinbaloye explained that as a journalist, he is unable to support any presidential candidate when asked why he cannot support Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the APC\u2019s presidential candidate.<\/p>\n
He cited the original statement he had previously made when he added, \u201cPlease dismiss the phony news that has been spreading. I have never endorsed a candidate as a journalist and I never will. Nigerians are blessed.<\/p>\n
