{"id":1361,"date":"2023-01-04T05:52:45","date_gmt":"2023-01-04T05:52:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2023\/01\/04\/whale-washed-ashore-at-tema-beach-safely-disposed-of\/"},"modified":"2023-01-04T05:52:45","modified_gmt":"2023-01-04T05:52:45","slug":"whale-washed-ashore-at-tema-beach-safely-disposed-of","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2023\/01\/04\/whale-washed-ashore-at-tema-beach-safely-disposed-of\/","title":{"rendered":"Whale washed ashore at Tema beach safely disposed of"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>The Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) has disclosed that a <strong>whale that was washed ashore<\/strong> along the beach of Tema has been safely disposed of.<\/p>\n<p>The whale which was washed ashore along the beach of the Tema resulted in the FDA cautioning the public not to tamper with it.<\/p>\n<p>The Deputy Chief Executive of the FDA in charge of the Food Division, Roderick Daddey-Adjei, explained that the cause of death of the whale is not immediately known hence, its consumption could pose severe health complications.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are working using the National Safety Food Response plan where we collaborate amongst ourselves as well as the Local Government and Fisheries Ministry so we are all on the lookout.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe people cooperated with us. We do not have any information about anybody going to take up anything. It\u2019s been safely disposed of.
