Two armed men on a motorbike reportedly robbed a Forex Bureau of approximately GH\u00a2400,000.<\/strong><\/p>\n The incident occurred around Amanfro Top Town in the Ga South Municipality of the Greater Accra Region, according to sources from Citi News.<\/p>\n Alhaji Mumuni, the owner of the Forex Bureau and a gold dealer, mentioned that the suspects had been monitoring their movements from Kasoa Zongo before robbing them at Amanfro Top Town, where the business operates.<\/p>\n Alhaji Mumuni recounted how the entire incident took place.<\/p>\n \u201cWe received a call from a client in Amanfro, so we decided to meet them. While we were on our way, we noticed two people on motorbikes, but we didn\u2019t pay much attention.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cAs we approached our destination, the two men on the motorbike attacked us and demanded the money in the bag. My other brother resisted, but one of the robbers insisted and pulled out a gun, firing a warning shot.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWith no other choice, my brother handed over the bag to the robbers. In the bag, we had about four hundred thousand cedis, including some foreign currency,\u201d he narrated.<\/p>\n According to him, they have reported the case to the Ngleshie Amanfro Police, and they have visited the scene to commence the investigation.<\/p>\n Eyewitness Jonathan Essel stated that, although they initially considered intervening, the armed robbers were carrying guns, which deterred them from taking any action.<\/p>\n \u201cAfter the robbers took the bags, one of them claimed to be a police officer, and they were armed, making it difficult for us to confront them.
