Obviously it was a big surgery. He\u2019s still not even close to team training or whatever.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cHe can do a lot, everything without using the arm properly, which is obviously good, but on the other side shows us we still have a long way to go.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cFor sure, I think the full January he will be [out]. He has to get closer and closer.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n Robertson\u2019s lack of availability is a blow to Liverpool at a time when reserve left-back Kostas Tsimikas is out with a broken collarbone.\u00a0<\/p>\n Eddie Howe has spoken about the importance of Newcastle midfielder Joelinton to his side.\u00a0<\/p>\n The Brazilian returned from injury during the Magpies\u2019 3-1 home defeat against Nottingham Forest on Boxing Day.\u00a0<\/p>\n Howe said: \u201cWhenever you lose a player of Joe\u2019s quality you realise how important they are.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cWhen he came on, he showed what he brings.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cHis ability in duels and to bring that fight in midfield is something we missed in the game, so fingers crossed we can keep him fit.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n Joelinton has recovered from a hamstring injury that kept him out of the Carabao Cup exit to Chelsea and the away loss to Luton.<\/p>\nRobertson out till after January<\/h2>\n
