The deal comes with an optional purchase clause and\u00a0<em>90min<\/em>\u00a0understands Arsenal\u00a0have told Raya\u00a0this will be triggered.<\/p>\n<p>The Spain international has become a near ever-present for\u00a0Arsenal\u00a0since coming into Mikel Arteta\u2019s starting lineup in September. In an interview with the\u00a0club\u2019s website, Raya discussed the challenges of adapting to life with a big team but downplayed suggestions he needed to improve his mentality.<\/p>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/01hjnvb8bftkffzf294y.jpg\" alt=\"FBL-ENG-PR-ARSENAL-BRIGHTON\" title=\"FBL-ENG-PR-ARSENAL-BRIGHTON\"\/><\/figure>\n<p>Raya is now an Arsenal regular \/ JUSTIN TALLIS\/GettyImages<\/p>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s been a great change, a great move. I\u2019ve experienced a lot of new things, especially at a club as big as Arsenal. It\u2019s one of the best clubs in the world, so the challenge has been incredible and I\u2019m still adapting to the club and everything here,\u201d Raya said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPressure is what you put on your shoulders. If you believe in yourself, you\u2019ve got a big part to play and I don\u2019t try to think so much about it. I\u2019m just trying to enjoy the moment, every single training session and, every time I go on the pitch, to help the team. I\u2019m just focusing on that and not focusing so much on the pressure or what\u2019s going on outside the club.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s not that you have to be mentally stronger, it\u2019s just new challenges that I have never experienced, so just trying to adapt as quickly as possible to a title race and playing in the Champions League for the first time.
