{"id":134508,"date":"2023-12-23T16:27:38","date_gmt":"2023-12-23T16:27:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2023\/12\/23\/opoku-prempeh-wins-minister-of-the-year-award\/"},"modified":"2023-12-23T16:27:38","modified_gmt":"2023-12-23T16:27:38","slug":"opoku-prempeh-wins-minister-of-the-year-award","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2023\/12\/23\/opoku-prempeh-wins-minister-of-the-year-award\/","title":{"rendered":"Opoku Prempeh wins Minister of the Year award"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>The Energy Minister, Dr Mathew Opoku Prempeh otherwise known as \u2018Napo\u2019, was adjudged the 2023 Minister of the Year at the 5th Ghana Ministers of State Execellence Honuors.<\/p>\n<p>The event which took place at the Holiday Inn on Friday December 22, saw other Ministers of State also being recognized for their sterling performances in the Akufo-Addo\u2019s administration.<\/p>\n<p>It was once again a testament that his modest contributions to nation building are being followed closely.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1003901\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/IMG-20231223-WA0058.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1080\" height=\"720\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>In his acceptance speech, Dr Opoku Prempeh, expressed his appreciation to the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for giving him the opportunity to serve in his government.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1003903\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/IMG-20231223-WA0060.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1080\" height=\"720\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>He remarked, \u201cIt is a challenge and an encouragement to continue to give off my best as a public official, in the best of my ability to the people of Ghana.<\/p>\n<p>He added, \u201cWhilst I am eternally grateful to His Excellency, the President, for the opportunity to serve. I pay glowing tribute to the dynamic team I work with.
