{"id":134464,"date":"2023-12-23T14:42:06","date_gmt":"2023-12-23T14:42:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2023\/12\/23\/gacl-boss-pamela-djamson-tettey-retires-after-attaining-statutory-retirement-age\/"},"modified":"2023-12-23T14:42:06","modified_gmt":"2023-12-23T14:42:06","slug":"gacl-boss-pamela-djamson-tettey-retires-after-attaining-statutory-retirement-age","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2023\/12\/23\/gacl-boss-pamela-djamson-tettey-retires-after-attaining-statutory-retirement-age\/","title":{"rendered":"GACL boss Pamela Djamson-Tettey retires after attaining statutory retirement age \u2013"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Managing Director of the Ghana Airports Company Limited, Pamela Djamson-Tettey has retired from public service after attaining the statutory age of 60 years.<\/p>\n<p>Madame Djamson-Tettey who has served in the position since February 2022 will be replaced by Yvonne Nana Afriyie Opare with effect from December 24, 2023.<\/p>\n<p>This is according to a letter issued by Minister of Transport,\u00a0Kwaku Ofori Asiamah\u00a0to the Board Chairman of the GACL,\u00a0Paul Adom-Otchere\u00a0and dated December 21, 2023.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs the Managing Director (Madam Pamela Djamson-Tettey) retires on 23rd December 2023, H.E. the President has nominated Mrs. Yvonne Nana Afriyie Opare for appointment as the Managing Director of the Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL) with effect from 24th December 2023,\u201d the letter read.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou are requested to kindly take necessary steps to give effect to the above decision, in accordance with the Company\u2019s Act, 2019 (Act 992) and other relevant Regulations of the Company. In furtherance of this, a copy of Mrs. Yvonne Nana Afriyie Opare\u2019s CV is attached for your necessary attention,\u201d the Transport Minister added.<\/p>\n<p>The Minister however directed to GACL Board Chair to ensure that, employees who have attained the statutory retirement age, must proceed to then retire.<\/p>\n<p>The Transport Minister also directed the GACL Board Chairman to urgently facilitate the exit of the under-listed persons:<\/p>\n<p>*Mr. Emmanuel Akotoa Fianko \u2013 Group Executive, Procurement.<\/p>\n<p>*Col (Rtd) Emmanuel Akohene Mensah \u2013 Director, Aviation Security.<\/p>\n<p>*Mr. Yaw Appiah-Danquah \u2013 Director, Airports Planning &amp; Projects.<\/p>\n<p>MA<\/p>\n<p><strong>Source:\u00a0<\/strong>www.ghanaweb.com<\/p>\n<p><!-- AI CONTENT END 1 --><\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Managing Director of the Ghana Airports Company Limited, Pamela Djamson-Tettey has retired from public service after attaining the statutory age of 60 years.
