My family and I are indebted to your Excellency in gratitude.<\/p>\n<p><strong>READ ALSO: Fubara: \u201cOne Man Can\u2019t Hold Rivers State Hostage\u201d- Ijaw Youths Slam Wike<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI wish your Excellency a successful tenure. Please accept the assurances of my highest regards always,\u201d the notice added.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, sources close to Adangor told Cable that he resigned because of the \u201cunconstitutional\u201d presentation of the budget by the Governor to five members of the House of Assembly, as well as the demolition of the Assembly complex on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>Rivers has been embroiled in a political crisis due to the rift between Fubara and Nyesom Wike, his predecessor and current Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).<\/p>\n<p>Both men have been locked in a tussle for the political structure of the State.<\/p>\n<p>Adangor was appointed Attorney-General of Rivers in 2018 under ex-Governor Wike.<\/p>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-7\" style=\"margin: 8px auto; text-align: center; display: block; clear: both;\">\n<div data-advadstrackid=\"890536\" data-advadstrackbid=\"1\" class=\"infor-target\" id=\"infor-750497075\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/300x250b.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"250\"\/><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice in Rivers State, Zacchaeus Adangor, on Thursday, tendered his resignation.
