Foxes unlikely to be grounded \u2013"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Leicester City are one point clear of Ipswich and eight points clear of third-placed Leeds in the Championship and the Foxes\u2019 bid to make an immediate return to the Premier League is firmly on course ahead of a visit from Plymouth<\/p>\n<p>The 2015 Premier League champions have had a hefty fall from grace, but they are making the most of having a top-flight ready squad at their disposal.<\/p>\n<p>Leicester have lost just three of their 19 league matches this season and they look to have got back on track following two straight losses at the start of November.<\/p>\n<p>Two wins and a draw have followed those defeats to Leeds and Middlesbrough and last Saturday\u2019s 2-1 win at in-form West Brom was a welcome confidence booster.<\/p>\n<p>Things should be more comfortable this weekend and the Foxes can take another step towards the Promised Land of the Premier League.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Team news<\/h2>\n<p>Callum Doyle remains the only long-term absentee for Leicester, who welcomed back defender Wout Faes in last weekend\u2019s win at West Brom.<\/p>\n<p>Brendan Galloway and Michael Cooper returned to the Plymouth line-up for last Saturday\u2019s win over Stoke, so Argyle have a clean bill of health ahead of this week\u2019s trip to the King Power Stadium.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The stats<\/h2>\n<p>Leicester have won five of their last six home league matches without conceding.<\/p>\n<p>Each of the last four meetings between these two sides have featured two goals or fewer and one or both teams have failed to score in seven of the last nine meetings.<\/p>\n<p>Leicester have conceded just four goals across their nine home league matches this season, while Plymouth haven\u2019t won any of their nine away Championship fixtures this season.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Prediction<\/h2>\n<p>Leicester are making solid progress as they look to bounce back to the Premier League at the first time of asking and they should be too strong for Plymouth at the King Power Stadium on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>The Foxes have lost just three matches all season, all to sides in the top half of the table, and they have conceded just 12 goals in 19 league matches in this campaign.<\/p>\n<p>Only four of those have come on home soil and it is hard to see Plymouth causing too many problems given their woes on the road.<\/p>\n<p>Stephen Schumacher\u2019s men took time to adjust to their new surroundings following their promotion from League One as champions, but they have edged their way up to 16th despite failing to win away from Home Park this season.<\/p>\n<p>The Foxes have let in just four goals in their nine home league matches this season and they have won five of their last six home league matches without conceding.<\/p>\n<p>Plymouth have notched just seven times in nine away league matches this season and a comfortable home win looks the way to go at the King Power this week.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich
