Sarkodie\u2019s performance lasted until 4:10 am, leaving the crowd wanting more.<\/p>\n<p>The \u2018This is Tema\u2019 Festival was initiated in 2019 by Sarkodie, who was born and raised in Community 9, Tema, as a way of showing his appreciation to his hometown fans.<\/p>\n<p>The festival was put on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic and other commitments, but Sarkodie expressed his commitment to making it an annual event.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to Sarkodie\u2019s headline performance, the festival featured a diverse lineup of Ghanaian artists, including Eyfa, EL, Paedae, Medikal, Kofi Kinaata, Donzy, Kofi Jamar, Kweku Flick, Pappy Kojo, Yaw Tog, Maya Blu, Asakaa Boys, Darkovibes, Kofi Mole, Kwame Yogot, Dope Nation, and Quamina MP.<\/p>\n<p>Attendees were also treated to a variety of food and drinks, making it a truly memorable experience for all.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-997983 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/Sarkodie-show-4.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>Before the festival, Sarkodie, accompanied by his wife Tracy, led a health walk and hosted a football match, further demonstrating his commitment to the Tema community.<\/p>\n<p>The \u2018This is Tema\u2019 Festival is a celebration of Tema\u2019s rich cultural heritage and musical legacy, and Sarkodie\u2019s performance was a fitting tribute to his hometown.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Multiple-award-winning rapper Michael Owusu Addo better known as Sarkodie delivered an electrifying performance at the second edition of the \u2018This is Tema\u2019 Festival, held at the Chemu Park in Community Seven, Tema.
