He deserves his opportunity to get a few more games and hopefully show his full potential.\u201d<\/p>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/01hge01n1nkwf6de1hyv.jpg\" alt=\"Alisson Becker\" title=\"Alisson Becker\"\/><\/figure>\n<p>Out of action \/ Robbie Jay Barratt \u2013 AMA\/GettyImages<\/p>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n<p>Kelleher has been restricted almost exclusively to starts in cup competitions throughout the last number of years, making just five appearances in the Premier League and only 26 in all competitions since his\u00a0Liverpool\u00a0debut during the 2019\/20 season.<\/p>\n<p>The Republic of Ireland stopper is now set to start a number of games consecutively for Liverpool due to the injury Alisson picked up during Saturday\u2019s 1-1 draw with Manchester City.<\/p>\n<p>The Reds number one suffered a hamstring strain in the top of the table clash \u2013 a problem which Klopp has admitted will\u00a0sideline Alisson for the next two games.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith Ali, it\u2019s a bit lesser, so we have to see \u2013 not day by day, he will not play tomorrow, not on Sunday, probably not the week after. Then it should be kind of okay,\u201d the boss explained.<\/p>\n<p>Alisson\u2019s injury means Kelleher is in line to make his first Premier League start of the campaign in clash with Fulham at Anfield on Sunday.
