Mr. Drew has strongly criticized Kuame Eugene, referring to him as a Jon boy<\/em><\/strong> which is a derogatory term meaning \u2018fool\u2019 in a new Twitter post. <\/p>\n

This came after Kuame Eugene claimed that he had taken legal action to compel Mr Drew to grant him his rightful 50% copyright for the song \u2018Case,\u2019 which he had written for him. <\/p>\n

During an interview with Berla Mundi on TV3, Kuame Eugene expressed that, despite considering Mr. Drew as an older brother, he believed that he held the upper hand in the industry due to his prior experience before Mr. Drew\u2019s arrival. <\/p>\n

Consequently, he believed it was justified to use his position to intimidate Mr. Drew when all other attempts to resolve the matter had proven unsuccessful.<\/p>\n

In response to a question about why he retained attorneys for Mr. Drew\u2019s case rather than Keche\u2019s, Kuame Eugene replied by saying,\u00a0\u201cBecause I came before him and I can bully him for my share.<\/p>\n

With all that happened, he still called me and said we should forget whatever happened and that I should send him my details so send me my shares,\u201d\u00a0he added. <\/p>\n

However, in a cryptic message purportedly at the Rockstar, Mr Drew described Kuami as a \u2018liar.\u2019 He also called him a Jon Boy for saying he sent lawyers after him before he paid his money. <\/p>\n

According to him, there is nothing special about being younger than someone else. He wrote,\u00a0\u201cAside from the fact that he\u2019s a liar, who made him think being younger than someone is a flex? Jon boy.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Kuami Eugene previously stated that he was solely responsible for writing the popular song \u2018Case\u2019 for Mr. Drew. He raised this issue after accusing Mr. Drew of not compensating him for his efforts in creating the song.<\/p>\n

Kuami who said Mr. Drew had declined to respond to his messages, asked advised the \u2018Case\u2019 singer to provide a split sheet so they could both reach an agreement on proceeds from the song.<\/p>\n

I love peace, so me, Kaywa, him, whatever is going on, let\u2019s get it fixed. He can send one split sheet and that will solve everything. I am saying this because he has seen my messages and has blue-ticked me as if he has not seen them but the song is doing well on the market,\u201d he further stated.<\/p>\n

However, in a recent update, Kuami Eugene mentioned that Mr. Drew has now fulfilled his financial obligation for his contribution to the song. The talented artist, known as the \u2018Rockstar\u2019, revealed that he had written approximately eighty percent of \u2018Case\u2019 but Mr. Drew had failed to acknowledge his input or provide him with payment.<\/p>\n

Nevertheless, during a new interview on Hitz FM\u2019s Daybreak Hitz with DJ Slim, Kuami Eugene shared that Mr. Drew has reached out to him and finally given him the recognition and compensation he deserved.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe didn\u2019t have a total knowledge of what he was doing. He didn\u2019t know that if you put music out there without the consent of the one that wrote it, it\u2019s illegal. So I won\u2019t blame him. He is a brother, and I am glad he learned and he hit me up right after everything.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
