{"id":122212,"date":"2023-11-22T14:16:59","date_gmt":"2023-11-22T14:16:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2023\/11\/22\/hammer-returns-to-music-production-abandons-bread-business\/"},"modified":"2023-11-22T14:16:59","modified_gmt":"2023-11-22T14:16:59","slug":"hammer-returns-to-music-production-abandons-bread-business","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2023\/11\/22\/hammer-returns-to-music-production-abandons-bread-business\/","title":{"rendered":"Hammer returns to music production; abandons bread business"},"content":{"rendered":"<br><div id=\"article-text\">\n                        \n\n                        \n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After taking a foray into other fields of endeavour, Ghanaian music producer Edward Nana Poku, known in showbiz as Hammer, has announced his comeback to music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While he was away, the founder of the Last 2  Group took a day job as Managing Partner and Head of Sales\/Marketing at A1 Bread Factory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On his official Facebook page, Hammer announced that his resignation from the bread company is necessitated by a music project he has been working on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to him, balancing time between his day job and the production of the album has delayed the release of the project, hence his decision to take a back seat from the company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;The problem is, this album\u2019s completion has become protracted due to my trying to balance the demands of my creative process and my day job as Managing Partner and Head of Sales\/Marketing at A1 Bread, all whilst simultaneously trying to manage Red Eye\u2019s comeback album as well\u2026 so I had to make a decision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I&#8217;m glad to report that A1 Bread has accepted my resignation in good faith to allow me to focus on my return to music, and my decision to resign from my day job will not impact my standing in the company as an equity stakeholder whatsoever,&#8221; he wrote.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/hammer-bread.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10032416787 lazy\" style=\"aspect-ratio:0.7989949748743719;width:831px;height:auto\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Hammer on bread-selling duty <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He, however noted that his return to music will also not affect his retail and distribution deal with Ekumfi Juice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cEkumfi Juice, on the other hand, isn\u2019t as demanding because we\u2019re only key distributors of the brand; thus, the team will continue serving you the best pineapple juice in the world today.
