The Minister of Finance, Ken Ofori-Atta will today present the 2024 budget and financial statement at Parliament\u00a0in accordance with\u00a0Article 179 of the 1992 Constitution.<\/p>\n
It is expected that the budget will focus on\u00a0government\u2019s commitment to fiscal discipline, economic policies,\u00a0expenditure rationalization measures, jobs and growth, and others.<\/p>\n
Some Ghanaians expect the government to remove the COVID tax, re-introduce road tolls, and present a clear job creation plan in the upcoming budget.<\/p>\n
Others are\u00a0hoping that there’ll be no introduction of new taxes.<\/p>\n
