More than 100 women entrepreneurs and businesses have been honoured at the 3rd edition of Women in Entrepreneurship Awards (WIEA), a scheme that empowers and celebrates the strong impactful effort by some Ghanaian women in the field of entrepreneurship.<\/p>\n
Under the auspices of Corporate Synergy, WIEA 2023 which was chaired by Ghanaian media personality Oheneyere Gifty Anti was held on the theme: \u201cDigitization: Scaling up business in economic crises\u201d.<\/p>\n
WIEA celebrated \u2018100 Most Successful Women Entrepreneurs\u2019 and among \u2018Top 30\u2019 honorees were Deloris Frimpong Manso (Delay), Gifty Anti, Sally Akua Amoakowaa, Dr Hannah-Lisa Tetteh, Mama Dzidoasi I, Lydia Forson, Salma Mumin, Elizabeth Nana Ama Arko, Alice Frimpong Sarkodie, Joyce Ababio, and Nana Krobea Asante.<\/p>\n
On the night, Nina Kwadanaab, CEO of Smockhub won the \u2018Woman Entrepreneur of the Year\u2019, whereas, Justine Mauda Aniaku and Princess Jewel Asare won the \u2018PWD Entrepreneur of the Year\u2019, and \u2018Agri-Woman of the Year\u2019, respectively.<\/p>\n
Others include Abigail Sefa Bonsu, \u2018Most Promising Entrepreneur of the Year\u2019, Deborah Nyarko Osei, \u2018Creative Industry Entrepreneur of the Year\u2019, Mrs Patience Abekah, \u2018Photographer of the Year\u2019, Ernestina Arhin Mensah, \u2018Business Insurance Broker of the Year\u2019, and Awurama Kena-Asiedu, \u2018Social Entrepreneur of the Year\u2019.<\/p>\n
Belinda Obour Mensah received the \u2018Pocketi Student Entrepreneur of the Year\u2019 award, Christabel Ofori, \u2018Micro\/Small Business Entrepreneur of the Year\u2019, Ntoboa Fund, \u2018Business Support Organization of the Year\u2019, and Hanna Atiase took away the \u2018Professional Service of the Year\u2019 award.<\/p>\n
Dr. Mary Dede Ansong won \u2018Health & Well-Being Entrepreneur of the Year\u2019; Jabez Heavenly Farms grabbed the \u2018Family Business of the Year\u2019, whereas, Cakes and Bakery, Empressmak Klothing, and Diya Organics, received \u2018Food Entrepreneur of the Year\u2019, \u2018Fashion Entrepreneur of the Year\u2019 and \u2018Made in Ghana Product of the Year\u2019, respectively.<\/p>\n
As part of the ceremony, WIEA also recognized and honoured Ghanaians under the age of 25 who are making exploits in various fields, dubbed \u201cExceptional Under 25 (EU25) Awards.<\/p>\n

15. Exceptional dancer under 25 – Lisa Quama<\/p>\n
16. Exceptional public speaker under 25 – Paa Kwesi Folson <\/p>\n

18. Exceptional fashion designer under 25- Xorlali Plange <\/p>\n
19. Exceptional beautician under 25 – Antoinette Kwofie<\/p>\n
