{"id":115299,"date":"2023-10-31T20:42:17","date_gmt":"2023-10-31T20:42:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2023\/10\/31\/court-awards-asamoah-gyans-ex-wife-ghc25k-monthly-houses-gas-station-and-cars-in-divorce-settlement\/"},"modified":"2023-10-31T20:42:17","modified_gmt":"2023-10-31T20:42:17","slug":"court-awards-asamoah-gyans-ex-wife-ghc25k-monthly-houses-gas-station-and-cars-in-divorce-settlement","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2023\/10\/31\/court-awards-asamoah-gyans-ex-wife-ghc25k-monthly-houses-gas-station-and-cars-in-divorce-settlement\/","title":{"rendered":"Court awards Asamoah Gyan\u2019s ex-wife GHc25K monthly, houses, gas station and cars in divorce settlement"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div data-td-block-uid=\"tdi_30\">\n<div class=\"tdb-block-inner td-fix-index\">\n<h3><strong>Former Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan was found to be the biological father of Gifty Gyan\u2019s three children, according to a court ruling on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, in Accra.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Given the player\u2019s notoriety as Africa\u2019s all-time highest scorer in a FIFA World Cup event, while playing for Sunderland and Al Ain, the three-year-old court case has been a topic of discussion.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"ezoic-pub-ad-placeholder-901\" data-method=\"placement-service\"\/><span id=\"ezoic-pub-ad-placeholder-114\" data-inserter-version=\"2\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The judge ruled that Asamoah Gyan must pay GHc25,000 (about $2,800) to his ex-wife, Gifty Gyan every month to support their three children.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"ezoic-pub-ad-placeholder-909\" data-method=\"placement-service\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Not included in this estimate are the expenditures associated with sending all three children to school, getting them to and from medical appointments, and taking them on vacation.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"ezoic-pub-ad-placeholder-910\" data-method=\"placement-service\"\/><span id=\"ezoic-pub-ad-placeholder-122\" data-inserter-version=\"2\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Gifty has been granted a four-bedroom home in Ghana in addition to Asamoah Gyan\u2019s home in the United Kingdom.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"ezoic-pub-ad-placeholder-911\" data-method=\"placement-service\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Asamoah Gyan has given his former business partner, Gifty, his BMW and the keys to one of his petrol stations in Prampram.<\/p>\n<p>Asamoah Gyan had something to say after hearing about the divorce settlement.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"ezoic-pub-ad-placeholder-912\" data-method=\"placement-service\"\/><span id=\"ezoic-pub-ad-placeholder-123\" data-inserter-version=\"2\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Following a post on Ameyaw Debrah, Gyan replied to the post writing on his X (formerly Twitter) page with over one million followers:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf I have 10pts and I keep quiet cos I\u2019m matured, and you have 2 pts and you going find public sympathy, then it\u2019s cool. You are very funny.
