He stated, \u201cI am so sorry for telling that joke the way it came out in Warri. I shouldn\u2019t even call it a joke anymore. It wasn\u2019t funny like it was during my tour of the US and Canada, and you have every right to be angry after seeing how the blogs used it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>AY Makun went on to accept the criticism and backlash he had received, taking responsibility for the poor delivery of the joke. \u201cPlease know that it is always a learning experience for all of us in the entertainment business,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>In a gesture of goodwill and reconciliation, AY addressed Davido directly, saying, \u201cI deserve any backlash or negative thoughts coming my way for the joke that was badly delivered in Warri. So, no excuses at all, my aburo. No reason am.
