According to a video that was shared from the rally of the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, Mr Peter Obi yesterday, it was seen that some Northerners have given the Peter Obi new Hausa names.<\/p>\n
During the Labour Party\u2019s rally in Bauchi State yesterday, while the convener of the rally was talking, he called Peter Obi\u2019s news names as, \u201cAlhaji Dr Peter Obi, Sarkin Yakin Talakawa,\u201d as this could mean that Peter Obi\u2019s popularity is gradually spreading in the northern region of the country, as opposed by some politicians from ri political parties, who said Obi\u2019s popularity cannot exceed the South-East geopolitical zone.<\/p>\n
During the rally, Obi urged the people of Bauchi State to pick up their PVC and vote for their candidate in the forthcoming presidential election.<\/p>\n
He said, \u201cWe know what is happening in Bauchi today. We want the oil discovered in Bauchi to be used to develop Bauchi, and to give you jobs. We will make sure that oil is used to develop Bauchi, to develop the North, to make sure everything is working not that somebody will steal the money and everybody is hungry.\u201d<\/p>\n
