There\u2019s no leader. It\u2019s just a mess. I feel like those systems need to be put in place to overlook the rights of Ghanaian creatives not only in the music scene but also in the movie industry as well.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\n<p><div class=\"youtube-embed\" data-video_id=\"sU08X-tOLHc\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Livestream: Celeb Biz with D-Black (23-09-2023)\" width=\"696\" height=\"392\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/sU08X-tOLHc?feature=oembed&#038;enablejsapi=1\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<p>Speaking to Amelley Djosu on Joy Prime\u2019s <strong>Celeb Biz <\/strong>Saturday, the \u201cEnjoyment\u201d hit-maker described the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) and the Ghana  Rights Organisation (GHAMRO) as terrible.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf I\u2019m to speak bluntly, I will say that the structures that are in place for our music industry are terrible. GAMRO is a terrible organisation. There\u2019s no accountability. I don\u2019t know how much I\u2019ve made from GAMRO in my 13 years in the music industry.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey\u2019ve attempted to [pay me royalty], but there\u2019s no accountability. You can\u2019t tell me this is what we\u2019re giving everybody. It doesn\u2019t make any sense. When we receive our royalties outside of the country, we get a report. In New Zealand, the song played 77 times between the months of May and August on Spotify.
