Former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo’s son, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, recently participated in a competitive football game with some of his old school friends in Abeokuta, which is located in the state of Ogun. This news shocked a great number of Nigerians.
As part of the activities planned to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Baptist Boys High School in Abeokuta, Ogun State, a football game between the students of the school against the teachers of the school was reportedly set to take place on Monday, January 23, 2023. It would be a 3-0 victory for Obasanjo’s team if the game ended right there.
Even the well-known politician Shehu Sani in Nigeria witnessed Obasanjo’s athletic performance and complimented him on his determination to achieve his goal.
In response to this, the politician sent a written response that stated: “Not only did Former President Obasanjo score a goal for peace in Ethiopia’s Tigray region, but he also scored at the reunion of the Baptist Boys High School. In other words, he scored both times. Congratulations.”
