Ibinabo Was Attacked By The Coordinator And His Thugs – Eye Witness

Popular Ebonyi State High Life musician Kelvin Ibinabo is currently in the hospital after allegedly being attacked and battered by a governor’s aide.

The Coordinator of the Ohaozara Development Center in the Ohaozara local government area is the Aide, he is also known as Machiavelli “z.”

The artist told journalists on Tuesday that the Coordinator and his goons had attacked him with various weapons on Saturday night before locking him up in a room.

Vanguard learned that he was almost completely unconscious when the cops got on the spot and saved him.

The musician described his trauma, claiming that the Ohaozara local government area Chairman, Consider Ajah, had hired him to play at his mother-in-burial law’s service in the local government last week.

The musician claimed that when dusk fell, he gave his team the order to break up and call it a day.

At that time, the Ohaozara Development Center Coordinator, Machiaveli Uzo, appeared out of nowhere and gave me the command to play a song by Mr. Francis Nwifuru, the APC candidate for governor of Ebonyi State.

Ibinabo claimed that he responded by stating that they needed to depart for Abakaliki since it was becoming dark and that the event he had come to perform at was not a political gathering.

He continued by saying that the coordinator said that if he didn’t follow the his instructions, the Coordinator vowed to attack him with his men.

At that time, Mr. Ibinabo was left with no alternative but to choose the microphone and begin playing the song for him in the interest of peace.

After approximately 20 minutes, he put down the microphone, but Mr. Uzo again told him to pick it up and carry on singing.

This time, though, Ibinabo declined to sing and instructed his team to pack things so they could leave the area.

Ibinabo was attacked by the Coordinator and his thugs, who beat him with various weapons.

They took him inside the facility, and beat him, and then locked him in a room.

Later, the police in Ohaozara arrived and transported him to Alex Ekwueme Federal University Teaching Hospital in Abakaliki for treatment after rescuing him from the room.

Mr. Ibinabo stated that the Chairman, Consider Ajah, had left for Abakaliki to attend a meeting and was not present when the incident occurred.
