NYSC Act States That It Is Mandatory For BSC, HND, NCE, Graduates To Serve In NYSC – Daniel Bwala

A Nigerian lawyer, Daniel Bwala, has stated that the requirement for graduates in Nigeria to serve in the NYSC is mandatory. Daniel Bwala made this known while reacting to the NYSC certificate saga involving one of Bola Tinubu’s ministers, Musawa.

According to Daniel Bwala, the NYSC act states that it is mandatory for graduates who has qualifications such as BSC, HND, and NCE to serve in the NYSC programme.

Daniel Bwala went on to say that the NYSC act provided the grounds for exemption for graduates who are sick, those who has national honour, those who served in intelligence agencies like the SSS, NIA, and the defence intelligence college.

Daniel Bwala stated that when you look at things properly you will realize that the NYSC act is not playing. He noted that the NYSC is the criteria used in ascertaining the character and fitness of anybody who would be employed or appointed.

Daniel Bwala made this statement as a reaction to some persons who argued that Musawa does not need NYSC certificate to serve as a minister in Bola Tinubu’s administration.
